Avoiding The Temptation
Sometimes it’s hard to not to respond to the craziness of the overtly religious and even harder to not make comments on YouTube videos. I have had to re-learn my first personal commandment: “Thou shalt not comment, answer, or argue with a fool in his or her folly.” I re-learned that no good will ever come from messing with the churched crowd and to leave them alone.
Why Big Momma Hates Us
Why does the church seem to attack those who leave it to pursue a closer walk with the Lord? Where’s the love and encouragement?
The Dividing Line
There appears as if there is no dividing line between those who are truly born-again and those who are church members. Big Mamma (the church) plans it this way to prevent the born-again from realizing their true identity as God’s sons and daughters. In reality, the dividing line is the front door of the church; once one has entered into the church they are officially the disciples of the pastor and his conclave--not Christ’s disciples.
The Pastoral Pistols
The portion of the New Testament called “The Pastoral Epistles” is 1, 2 Timothy and Titus. These letters are the cornerstone of the biggest enterprise the world has ever known--the church, aka Christianity. What would happen to Christ’s follower if the clergy didn’t add these books to what we now know as the “New Testament?” Would God still be able to lead his people?
Daily Execution
Daily, personal execution probably sounds like foolishness to most people. Do those who call themselves “Christians” have any idea what execution has to do with following Jesus?
